RegiMont - Mountain Landscape Regeneration Centre is a project developed by Palombar, which aims to foster partnerships between groups and individuals working on the regeneration of the natural and man-made landscape of northern and central Portugal, while also strengthening cross-border links with the Spanish autonomous communities of Galicia and Castile and León.

Palombar believes that partnerships rooted in good inter-collective relationships and directed in a collaborative and integrated manner have the power to increase the regenerative impact of the initiatives created.

Implemented in 2026 and 2027, this project focuses on organising three in-person events combined with seven online working sessions for debate and co-creation:
Accommodation, travel and food expenses are covered by the project.

The main objectives of the collaborative moments are:
  • Submission of applications for new partnership projects
  • Preparation of thematic manifestos
  • Creation of a digital repository of skills and resources
  •
The project is funded under the RCF - Regenerative Communities Fund, launched in 2024 by ECOLISE - European Network of Community-Led Initiatives on Climate Change and Sustainability and co-funded by the European Union.

Palombar is part of a group of 15 European organisations selected as RCF ‘Demonstrators’, recognised for their experience in community regeneration.

The RCF is the first fund specifically dedicated to supporting regenerative communities in Europe. It is a long-term strategic initiative that aims to catalyse community-led initiatives for a just environmental and social transition.
